Unical: NIMELSSA ELECTION DETAILS


REPORT ON THE NIGERIAN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE STUDENTS ASSOCIATION  ELECTION UNICAL CHAPTER HELD ON FRIDAY, 17TH – AUG – 2018
The Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Students Association Unical chapter; Known to be one of the greatest association in the history of  the federal University of  Calabar,nhas indeed encountered another great success in the elections that took place friday being the 17th  Aug, 2018.

The election which seems to be tremendous, took place at “Open Pavilion” of main campus and commenced with the invitation of the aspirants for some briefings on the modalities and purpose of the event, giving them steps or measures to be applied when they achieve victory.



Secondly, the election which was stipulated to begin by 10am actually commenced within a time lag of 12noon through 12:2pm and it was been regulated by the electoral chairman Comr. Ekaeso Loveday and his personnel. They encountered a large turn up at the inception stage of the process but it obviously came to a reduction as the election process was still progress.

There was no sought of violence or disarray all through the election period, that is; the process was free and fair one indeed.

In summary, the NIMELSSA Election was really a tremendous one, though in the political world or rather the game of politics there must be those that emerged victorious and those that didn’t but rather gained the knowledge about politics.

The NIMELSSA Election ended at about 1:58pm following the arrangement and proper counting of votes by the electoral committee, after the votes of each candidate was genuinely counted. The result was declared by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee.
