Closing Kano State Border Is A Good Ideal

Kano States Closing its borders this early will go a long way in:
* Blocking the importation of the virus from other states as it moves beyond the person to person level. The State will only contend with its already existing inoculum.
*Attaining a partial lockdown in the interim without waiting for a complete lockdown of towns and cities that will see thousands die of thirst and hunger before they are killed by the virus.
*It allows people in the state to prepare and transit smoothly into the final and brutal phase of total lockdown of the country. Food in the city, for example, will be mopped up immediately but more will be imported from the countryside. Villages, on the other hand, can rush to buy essential items from the city before movements are stopped in the next few weeks.
This is much better than waiting for a Federal order shutting down the country.
