Vacation Crisis In Calabar As Government Shutdown Schools.

Following the recent instructions from Federal Government to shutdown all institutions and gathering in Nigeria as coronavirus cases increases.

Cross River State Government has shutdown all schools asking students to go to their homes not minding where they are coming from.

In a notice on Monday from The University of Calabar (Unical) management, students are to vacate the hostel on or before 7am of Thursday 26 of March, 2020. Aside the notice tension rises as many States closes their borders. 
With large number of people vacating to their homes. Transportation crisis hits hard as no vehicle to transport students to their various destinations. People have been trying to book transit since 2am but could not. This has cause a lots of worries as many States will close borders starting from 6pm today.
Many are left stranded, no vehicle going to their destination. And schools hostels are locked down.

Nigerians, Is shutting down schools a good measure of stopping the spread of Coronavirus???

Currently no case of coronavirus in Calabar, Cross River State. But many students are going home to the infected States, like Lagos, Abuja and the rest.
