Martin Hughes, Ghanaian transgender, a treat to Bobrisky as Africa’s number one male Barbie

Martin Hughes aka Ohemartin, Ghanaian transgender has emerged as a real and possible threat to Bobrisky ( Idris okuneye) as Africa's number one male barbie.


Martin Hughes, born originally as a boy, said at around age 7, she started feeling more like a girl and when she became a teenager, she opted to live as a girl. After being enrolled in a boys secondary school and while in school, she started developing br**sts like a girl. Later in life, she  opted to undergo body surgery to complete her  transformation into a female.

Growing up in a conservative environment like Africa, particularly in Ghana, Hughes explained that people, including her own mother found it hard to accept her choice while she was growing up.

She however added that her mom has turned around to become one of her biggest support system. Stated that “I have like the best mom in the world. She’s very supportive. I even have a tattoo in her name. I have 3 tattoos.

“My mom believes in freedom but not abuse of freedom so sometimes, she really puts me in my place when I’m going wrong about myself and decisions. I always listen to her, she’s the only one who can tell me what to do,” she narrated.

Hughes has been causing quite a stir with her pictures on social media and many are even finding it difficult to believe the now curvy Hughes was born as a u.
