The measure was sit-at-home and avoid any gathering of more than 50 persons, that was the directive made by the federal government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus and Lagos State being the highest hit of the COVID-19.
Afeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has agreed to shoot a video against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with the Lagos State Government. The video will be part of the condition for the Lagos State to withdraw any charge against him.
In a statement to Chief Magistrate Yewanda Aje-Afunwa, Naira Marley said; “I hereby undertake to join the Lagos State campaign against the spread of the COVID-19 by making a free audio-visual publication towards the campaign against COVID-19,”
According to The Nation, Mrs. Aje-Afunwa approved the withdrawal of the charge against Marley. So don’t be surprised when you see a video from Naira Marley campaigning against the spread of Coronavirus in collaboration with the Lagos State Government.
