One of the effect of the Coronavirus Pandemic on our society is the compulsory wearing of face mask also known as nose mask by many for protection from this pandemic. Face mask is very important at this moment and at such, many have decided to introduce various face masks which include the use of Ankara materials in sowing the mask.
The Ankara face mask has also been use for fashion as people tend to wear face mask that matches their outfits. Despite the importance of the face mask, the Ankara face mask doesn’t have the quality of a good face mask and doesn’t protect one from the pandemic.
A protective Face masks is to be disposed off immediately after use to avoid transmission of any virus and it’s the reason they are sold in packs, but the Ankara face mask most persons use are not disposable as a result of the ability to wash and reuse it and also, it’s economical as it reduces expenses. But ones health should not be risked for such qualities as one is greatly exposed to contaminating the virus as such mask is exposed to contamination.
A good face mask must be light in texture to allow its user breath comfortably. The materials with which most of these Ankara masks are made are not breathable, they are sometimes very thick and make the user struggle to catch their breath, which also is harmful as loss of breath can lead to death.
It is advisable to stick to the normal face masks that are easily disposable and if you must use Ankara masks, make sure you exercise proper caution such as; dispose after use and also ensure the material used is light and can ease breathing.
