Jim Carrey's girlfriend Cathriona White, who died at age 28 from a suspected suicide on Monday, Sept. 28, hinted in her final social media posts on Twitter and Instagram that she was struggling.
In White's final tweet on Sept. 24, she informed her thousands of followers that it would be her last post on the site.
Since February 2013, the Irish makeup artist -- whose handle was @littleirishcat -- had posted 345 total tweets, and favorited 155 posts. Some of her favorites included posts by Carrey himself, including one on Sept. 1, which featured a photo that she had taken.
In August 2014, White also marked Zelda Williams' tribute to her late father, Robin Williams, who died from a suicide that month.
On Instagram, White frequently posted hashtags alongside selfies. Sadly, her second-to-last Instagram update was a cryptic quote written by beloved Irish poet William Butler Yeats.
"Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, For I would ride with you upon the wind," she wrote, citing Yeats. "Run on the top of the dishevelled tide, And dance upon the mountains like a flame. W.B. Yeats."
That post was followed by her final Instagram update -- a black-and-white throwback selfie. "#blackandwhite #selfie #throwback #desert #endless #search #instaphoto #lookdeeply #look #honestly #feeling #californiadreaming #love #yearning #faith #ilovetea," she captioned the snap.
The beautiful brunette -- whose Instagram bio page identified her as an "Irishgirl," with a love for family, friends, love, learning, and laughing a lot -- frequently shared pretty, ethereal snaps of herself living her daily life.
