Teacher Beats Student To Death

                   
A teacher at Ekiugbo Grammar School in Ughelli North at Delta State a town at Nigeria has been accused of flogging a student to death.

A report from ghpage.com says the student identified as Kelvin Ogheneogaga was rushed to the hospital after he was said to have been flogged by his teacher where he was declared dead.

It is reported that the teacher kept flogging the student even after he complained about his health condition to him.

“we begged the teacher not to flog him because Kelvin was not too fine but the teacher refused and kept flogging him. Kelvin had an injury in his leg before he was flogged. We don’t know if the flogging was the reason for his death” an eyewitness narrated.

The teacher was later attacked by some angry students after the victim was declared dead. The principal’s office was also destroyed by the students.

The reason for the flogging of the boy has not yet been communicated. But the police have assured to aid maintain peace.
